Mini Rugby at the Abbotsford Rugby Club (Ages 4–11)
We are excited to kick off our Spring 2026 Mini Rugby season with fun, fitness and rugby skills. Mini rugby is open to players born in 2014–2021. Our Minis learn the game in a supportive, team-focused environment where the emphasis is on confidence, teamwork, and having a blast on the field.
This season, every registered player receives a club t-shirt, rugby shorts, and socks—parents only need to provide soccer cleats.
Program Breakdown
2016–2021 Birth Years: Flag Rugby – Non-contact, high-energy skill development with games.
Registration Fee: $170 + tax.
2014–2015 Birth Years: Intro to Tackle – Safe, age-appropriate introduction to contact with games.
Registration Fee: $190 + tax.
Season Start Dates
All divisions commence February 1st
Practice/Game Schedule
U10 & U12: Sundays & Wednesdays – Time TBD
U6 & U8: Sundays – Time TBD
Following spring break, teams will participate in jamborees across the Fraser Valley offering a great chance for our young players to showcase their skills and enjoy friendly competition with neighbouring clubs.
